UC Santa Barbara junior Nick Randazzo placed second in the men's 8-kilometer final at the Big West Conference Championships, clocking 24:26.6 on the Ag-Ops course layout in Riverside, Calif. Randazzo, who improved from 17th place last year, helped the Gauchos finish third overall with 67 points.
